The next Amsterdam hotel I am going to describe today is not the cheapest one, however, if you compare prices of luxurious Amsterdam accommodations you will probably come to the opinion that Hotel Artemis Amsterdam is cheaper than other 4-star hotels in Amsterdam. This de-luxe Amsterdam hotel is located in the western part of the capital between the city centre and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. One can easily reach Hotel Artemis Amsterdam by either car or public transport. As for parking, it is possible on site and costs EUR 15.60 per day. By the way, believe my own experience of parking in Amsterdam: try to avoid taking your car into the city centre – Amsterdam’s street are very narrow and driving here is not as enjoyable as one could think. It is much better to park your car far from the city centre on the free parking and use frequently running public transport to proceed. Parking rates are very high in the center of Amsterdam and it’s no use trying to find free parking here - free parking in the city center does not exist, so don’t look for it. Some Amsterdam hotels may provide free parking spaces for their guests, otherwise visitors should look for a garage or street parking.
