Cheap Hotels in Amsterdam & Amsterdam Hotel Guide

Another letter about Amsterdam hotel.

“I and my 2 friends stayed in Mozart Hotel Amsterdam, a pleasant and cheap hotel in Amsterdam. The hotel is located in a very nice area with many bridges and historic buildings; it is close to the flower market and a busy square full of restaurants and cafes. Tram stop is nearby Mozart Hotel Amsterdam, so it was easy to get to any part of the city.

Mozart Hotel is a very cheap Amsterdam hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our room. During my previous trip I stayed in another Amsterdam hotel for similar price, so I expected similarly reasonable, but not very great, Amsterdam hotel. Surprisingly, our room was more spacious, cleaner and better furnished compared to my room in the previous hotel. And the canal view out of our window was one more bonus for us. Guests living on the other side of the hotel complained that it was too hot in their rooms, but it was much better on a canal-side of the hotel. We had all the facilities we needed for a short stay - wardrobe, LCD TV, night lamp, telephone. Beds were quite comfortable.

Breakfast was included and it was served between 07:00 and 10:00 in the sunny breakfast room, which was sometimes crowded. The continental breakfast was entirely adequate.

The staff of Mozart Hotel Amsterdam were competent and friendly. They even could book excursion for us.

Mozart Hotel Amsterdam was very good for the price we paid, so I think we will come back.”
